My Story
Living in Milton Keynes on a narrow boat with two dogs Jip a Staffordshire and Fig a male collie and my girlfriend Kelly l created the A-Z cards and other playing cards designed and play testing and made an appointment with a games expert a Mr Angus Lavery in London at the Hamleys shop for a game review, and we were advised to write more games and update the product and have the product manufactured for shops like Hamleys that have limited self space and card game like ours would fit very well in the cardgames section having more space available.
So I went on our journey that’s difficult due to the cost involved and creating our logo and packaging and lots of copyright ©️ and registered ®️ with Barker and brettle lawyers in 2020 and continue to copyright all our work.
My late wife Barbara at our stand GH 34 the launch of Portrait games ltd, and our product manufactured in 2006© and on display being a new type of set of playing cards using a topic of Birds and Bats, we donated many packs to the trolly dash charity at the show. We both had a enjoyable time together and lots of interest was generated in our new product also we had an assistant hired so that me and Barbara could visit the toy fair live TV show and demonstrate our new product, our demo was great fun and given the thumbs up by the on lookers for original design and educational games and the hand drawn pictures with information that make the cards very interesting and great for learning.
I have designed further topics for players to collect and build their own collection and play all the different games giving people great choice and they all play the amazing new games using our 122 playing cards, their will be a 950 limited edition signed numbered for lucky people to collect and the remaining 50 signed but everyone gets a free logo sticker in each pack of cards 2026© This product is the original made in the UK ©2006 to 1992© logo registered ®️ 2020.
